This policy explains how Camp Coolam and Camp Yachad (“we”, “us”) collect, use and protect information when you use our registration site at apply.campcoolam.com and when we send you emails or text messages.

Information we collect

• Parent and family details: names, email addresses, phone numbers, home address and emergency contacts.
• Camper details: name, date of birth, school, photo, medical and dietary information, and the answers on the application.
• Billing details: payments, balances and payment plans. Card and bank details are stored by our payment processor, not on our servers.
• Your choice about text messages, with the date, time and wording you agreed to.
• Technical details such as your IP address and browser, used to keep accounts secure.

How we use it

• To process applications, run camp and keep campers safe.
• To bill and collect payments.
• To contact you about your account, your children's applications, payments and camp updates by email, phone and, if you agree, text message.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check “Text me” on our site, we will send text messages to the number you gave about your children's applications, payments and camp updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop at any time, or HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the providers that deliver our messages for us.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to run camp:

• Service providers that work for us, such as our payment processor, email and text-message providers and hosting, under confidentiality.
• Camp staff and medical staff who need it to care for campers.
• When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a camper or others.

How we protect it

Information is sent over encrypted connections and access is limited to staff who need it. Medical information is visible only to staff with medical access.

Your choices

• You can view and update your family's information by signing in.
• You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting the office.
• You can ask us to correct or delete information by contacting the office, unless we need to keep it for legal or financial records.

Children

Information about campers is given to us by their parents or guardians. We do not collect information directly from children through this site.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
